The Lyon Family Foundation founded Lyonâs Way in 2021 to help adolescents and young adults afflicted with cancer. Partnered with University of Chicago Medicine Comer Childrenâs Hospitalâs Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Program, Lyonâs Way aims to bring compassion and generosity to individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis, with a focus on taking care of the âwhole patientâ while they are going through this challenging and unexpected time. Through grants and fundraising, the Foundation supports Comerâs AYA program in its long-term goal of reducing barriers to survivorship, while also having an individual impact on patientsâ lives along the way.
