The 6th Annual Hoosier Ball brought a taste of Parisian nightlife to downtown Chicago in October 2023. Guests were greeted with a red carpet, champagne, and a “billetterie booth” to pick up their tickets to the Hoosier Cabaret. On the way to “Chez Lyon” at RPM Events, guests peeked backstage for a glimpse of the performers readying for the show. The cocktail hour included seafood towers, truffled risotto, a martini ice luge, and a moody jazz quartet. When each guest took their seat, they lifted a mini-replica of the windmill at Moulin Rouge to reveal the night’s menu. Following the auction and paddle raise led by Master of Ceremonies Bill Rancic and Lyoness Ariana Savalas, the captivating cabaret performance began, with each number and exquisite costume raising the bar thanks to lead entertainer Miss Donna Hood and Tease Productions. To up the allure, guests were invited to dance to the electronic sounds of Mojave Grey at an After Party at Pizzeria Portofino, presented by Ferrari Lake Forest. It was a remarkable night and a successful fundraiser, raising just over $615K for Lyon’s Way.
